This is the official AUPAC 2008 Website. AUPAC 2008 is hosted by the University of Prince Edward Island from February 8th-10th. The two main themes that will be covered in AUPAC 2008 are in environmental/climate and biomedical physics. Given that this is the International Polar Year, the inclusion of a climate component to the meeting is timely and we are fortunate to have Canada Research Chair, Dr. James Drummond (Dalhousie University) as the plenary speaker.

Ceci est le site web officiel de la CAEPA 2008 qui est organisée par l'université de L’Île-du-Prince-Édouard du 8 au 10 février. Les deux themes principaux de CAEPA 2008 seront la physique biomédicale et de l'environment/du climat. Vu que cette année est l'année polaire internationale, l'inclusion de ce dernier thème est pertinente et nous sommes heureux de recevoir Dr James Drummond (Université de Dalhousie), chaire de recherche du Canada comme orateur.

• The registration desks will be in the Best Western and Bernadine Hall on Friday,and in the Duffy Science Center on Saturday morning.
• We have secured 25 rooms with 2 queen-sized beds at the Best Western for $104 per night. Contact Vanessa Feeley (902-626-4409) to make your reservations. Be sure to indicate that you are an AUPAC delegate.
• There are also 15 double rooms and 4 single rooms providing a total of 34 single beds at Bernadine Hall. The nightly rate is $25.00 per person plus 5% GST and 10% PST for a total of $28.88.
